Larry Irving, Internet Hall-of-Famer

Larry Irving is an internet pioneer and has been involved in the development of Internet policy, politics and technology development for almost three decades. Larry was the first African American inducted into the Internet Hall of fame for his efforts to improve digital equity and for his pioneering efforts to identify and assist in eliminating the “digital divide” in the United States and globally. He currently heads the Irving Group where he assists companies, non-profits, philanthropies and entrepreneurs on business and policy strategies.

Mike Conley Jr., NBA Point Guard for Utah Jazz

Mike Conley, Jr. is the starting point guard for the NBA’s Utah Jazz, and former Memphis Grizzlies player. Passionate about community, Mike has raised millions of dollars for various causes, including sickle cell research, youth mentoring, and computer science education. Mike has been engaged with nonprofit CodeCrew for several years, bringing his own passion for video games to CodeCrew’s video game development classes. In response to COVID-19, Mike donated $200,000 to six organizations around the country, including a gift to CodeCrew to provide laptops and Internet access to 90 students in Memphis who otherwise would not have been able to continue participating in CodeCrew’s programs.
