We’re thrilled to announce that CSforALL is preparing to host the seventh CSforALL Summit in October! As we prepare for this national event, we need your help! The CSforALL Team is seeking a strong collaboration with a local organization and community to host the CSforALL Summit! The host will bring the national computer science education community to their city and have the opportunity to increase the footprint of CS education impact, build unique partnerships, and showcase local community success stories! CSforALL is accepting Summit Host proposals from Friday, January 13, 2023 – Monday, February 13, 2023.
The CSforALL Summit brings 300–600 attendees together for a three-day convening to share, learn and celebrate the #CSforALL movement. With the local partner, we build high-level conversations with national thought leaders highlighting strategies for equity, removing barriers to access, and building meaningful engagement for all students. Summit Host Specifications:
- The local team would be ready to collaborate in making the Summit impactful both locally and nationally.
- Engaged deeply in the local computer science education community and ecosystem.
- A host venue that can accommodate an audience of 300–600, live-streaming, nearby hotel capacity, expo hall space and more.
- Easy access for travel (air and ground) for out-of-town participants.
- Source and solicit local sponsorships and partnerships that would support the successful delivery of the CSforALL Summit.

2022 CSforALL Summit In Memphis, Tennessee
2022: The 2022 CSforALL Summit was hosted in Memphis, Tennessee with our local partner, CodeCrew, bringing together 350+ attendees from 36 States! In collaboration, we had 59 sponsors and partnerships, 27 exhibitor booths, 74 speakers, and 181 Commitments by 135 organizations! See day one and day two main stage recaps on our Vimeo channels.
2021 Virtual Two-Day CSforALL Summit
On Tuesday, October 19, and Wednesday, October 20, 2021, the K-12 CSEd community gathered for the 5th Annual CSforALL Summit. During the dynamic event, we announced the 2021 #CSforALL Commitments made by our member community and discussed a full agenda of national CS education matters around ‘Change Happens with Partnerships in Places’, including sustainable CSEd in communities, racial injustice, building local capacity, and raising national awareness of the computer science education movement. This event featured notable presenters, CS education influencers, human-interest stories, a hip-hop performance, and much more! Check out recordings from the event here.
2022 CSforALL Commitment Showcase
Though the CSforALL Summit was postponed, we recognized, the need to bring rigorous and equitable computer science education to ALL, amidst the dual pandemics of COVID-19 and racial injustice, was more urgent than ever.
To elevate the work that was being done, we hosted a virtual #CSforALL Commitments Showcase on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. During this event, we announced 165 new efforts to achieve computer science for all by 127 organizations. We highlighted the promising work in response to the impacts of COVID-19 and racial injustice on the computer science education movement. We kicked off the showcase with Mitchel Resnick responding to kids’ (ages 3 to 14) questions about Scratch. We were excited that over 5,000 individuals across the globe attended our 2020 #CSforALL Commitments Showcase! Stay tuned for 2021 Summit announcements.
